Melanie Cohen

Melanie Cohen has a diverse work experience in various communications and coordination roles. Melanie is currently working as the Head of Communications at Tecnologíes Avanzadas Inspiralia SL and previously served as the Communication Coordinator at the same company. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Project Management Coordinator at the Surround Sound Love Foundation, where they organized the foundation's database and established relationships with clients and media representatives. Melanie also worked as an Ambassadors and Communications Assistant at the Embassy of Guatemala in Spain, where they managed databases and handled inquiries. Melanie has also served as a Campus Ambassador and Institutional Relations representative at the Foundation for Economic Education, organizing promotional events and guiding students. Additionally, they worked as an Investigation Assistant at the Secretaria de Integración Económica Centroamericana and as a Trade Center Communication Intern at AMCHAM GUATEMALA, where they provided assistance in database management and phone communication.

Melanie obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from thePower from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Derechos Humanos, Justicia Penal y Derecho Internacional Humanitario from Instituto Internacional de Estudios Globales para el Desarrollo Humano from 2020 to 2021.

In 2019, Melanie pursued a Master's degree in Political Communication from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Earlier, from 2014 to 2018, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

During their studies, Melanie engaged in short-term programs. Melanie attended Harvard University in 2017, focusing on International Affairs. In the same year, they also attended the University of Maine for language studies. In 2016, Melanie pursued studies in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of New Hampshire.

Melanie completed their high school education at Colegio Metropolitano de Guatemala, earning a High School Diploma from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Melanie obtained certifications outside of their academic programs. In 2019, they received an EF Standard English Test (EF SET) certification from EFSET. Melanie also obtained a LinkedIn certification in Fundamentos de marketing de LinkedIn Marketing Solutions from LinkedIn in March 2023.
