Inspirations Assisted Living & Memory Care
Inspirations was founded by two consultants with more than 50 years of combined experience in the Senior Living Industry. Kacey Troyer and Ben Slabaugh began to see so many improvements that could be made in the industry and only a small percentage of providers doing them. With this knowledge, they started casting a vision for a disruptive memory care community that challenged the old perceptions of senior care. In 2015, they purchased their first community, a vacant, bank-owned, Assisted Living community on a farm in Westminster, MD. Kacey and Ben saw this as a great place to begin their vision for a holistic memory care community. It even came with goats and chickens! Along with a great team and amazing residents, the community began to come to life with laughter, dancing, great food, and animals. After three years, they spread their vision to Linthicum and Lutherville, where they continued the small-model approach, which can deliver superior Staff-to-Resident ratios and individualized care to residents. They are currently looking to spread their mission of purpose, joy, and laughter to more residents and are developing an awesome team of leaders and passionate caregivers to join and grow with them.
