Libby Hambleton Sharp serves as the Director of Government Affairs at Inspire Brands, leading the government affairs team for the second-largest restaurant company in the U.S. With extensive experience in government communications, Libby held various positions at the United States Senate, including Senior Government Affairs Manager and Texas Press Secretary, where responsibilities included crafting media strategies, managing press relations, and advising on communications for a broad portfolio of issues. Previous roles also encompassed Texas Deputy Press Secretary and Press Assistant, contributing to significant growth in outreach and engagement efforts. Libby started a career in legislative support at the U.S. House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant and Communications Assistant. Libby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from Georgetown University, after attending Lake Forest Academy and Phillips Academy.
