Winthrop Idle

Winthrop Idle is a seasoned aerospace and systems engineer currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at InSPIRE Corporation since October 2024. Previously, Winthrop held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at Stellar Solutions from September 2010 to October 2024 and served as Commander of the SBIRS Ground Systems Group at USAF from July 2007 to September 2010. Additional roles include Deputy Director for MILSATCOM at the Pentagon, Chief of Operations Engineering Division at Aerospace Data Facility, and multiple leadership positions within the Air Force, including Director of Integration & Test at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Winthrop's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Physical Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor’s degree in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, complemented by studies at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
