Kirsty Blyth is an experienced senior leader in the cultural and library services sector, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Executive Officer at Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries since January 2016. In this role, Kirsty oversees various aspects such as library service delivery, communications, marketing, and governance. Prior to this, Kirsty held multiple positions at Nottinghamshire County Council from May 2003 to March 2016, including Team Manager for Group Development and Libraries, where responsibilities encompassed HR, cultural programming, and resource development. Earlier experience includes leading children's and lifelong learning services at Warwickshire County Council and project work for Northamptonshire Libraries. Kirsty's educational background includes a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Durham University, an MA in Librarianship from The University of Sheffield, and a PG Dip in Public Services Management from Nottingham Trent University, along with a Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
