Karen Vitantonio began their work experience as a Senior Partner in Talent Management & Organization Development at Drexel University from 2007 to 2009. In this role, they provided consulting services to university leaders and led various projects related to talent development and succession planning.
In 2009, Karen joined SAP and took on multiple leadership roles. As the Director of Talent Management, they led the global change management for the implementation of SuccessFactors and managed early adopter groups to test new concepts and technology. Karen then became the Senior Director of Global Talent Management, where they led another change management initiative for goal setting and performance management.
Karen later served as the Senior Director of Leadership Experience, overseeing the development and execution of a leadership development program for SAP's business transformation to Cloud leadership. Karen also worked closely with senior leadership to identify and develop potential successors to board members.
In their most recent role at SAP, Karen was the Chief Expert in Talent Management, responsible for partnering with HR and senior executives to develop and implement a strategy to strengthen succession management and high potential development. Karen led the design and implementation of a new succession solution and managed global change management efforts to define strategic talent pools.
Currently, Karen works as a Human Resources Consultant at Inspire Human Resources since 2022.
Karen Vitantonio is currently a doctoral student at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, specializing in Business Administration. Prior to pursuing their doctoral studies, they obtained a Master of Industrial & Labor Relations (MILR) from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Leading Effective Decision-Making from the Yale School of Management.
