David Wechter

David Wechter is an accomplished leader in clinical training and neuromodulation with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Training at Inspire Medical Systems since March 2020, David leads a global team of clinical experts, overseeing surgical and surgical sales training initiatives. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Abbott, including Sr. Global Marketing Manager for the Chronic Pain Therapy business unit, where significant product launches and sales achievements were realized. David's early career includes notable roles at Boston Scientific, contributing to research and development with multiple patents in neuromodulation, as well as academic research at Cornell University and UC Santa Barbara. David earned a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
