Patrick Wegerson

Patrick Wegerson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design assurance and quality engineering across various sectors, including medical devices and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Design Assurance Engineer at Inspire Medical Systems since January 2023, Patrick focuses on advancing medical device design assurance processes in a fast-paced environment. Previous roles include Staff Design Assurance Engineer at Abbott, Principal Risk Engineer at Medtronic, and Staff Quality Assurance Engineer at Beckman Coulter. Patrick has also held positions in quality management and software engineering at companies such as 3M and General Dynamics. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, as well as certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt from Minnesota ASQ.
