Satish Amancharla

Satish Amancharla has over 20 years of work experience in engineering management and test engineering. Satish is currently the Director of Post Market Surveillance at Inspire Medical Systems since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Engineering, Test and Design Assurance at HID Global from 2016 to 2020. Satish also served as the Senior Engineering Manager, Test Engineering and Quality Assurance at Transition Networks from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they had their own consulting business as a Consultant/Owner at Armchair Technologies from 2012 to 2016. Satish held the position of Engineering Manager, Reliability and Test Lab at Nilfisk-Advance from 2013 to 2014. Furthermore, they worked as the Engineering Manager, Adv Process Development and Mfg. Engineering at Abbot Formerly St. Jude Medical from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at St. Jude Medical from 2010 to 2011. Satish also worked as the Principal Manufacturing Project Engineer at Transoma Medical from 2007 to 2009. Their earlier experience includes roles as Principal Test Engineer at Medtronic from 2000 to 2007 and Technical Analyst at Analysts International from 1998 to 2000.

Satish Amancharla began their education in 1989 at the University of Madras, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. This four-year program concluded in 1993. Concurrently, in the same time frame, they also attended Thanthai Periyar Govt. Institute of Technology, studying Electronics and Communication, leading to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Satish Amancharla obtained a certification in Wilderness First Responder from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine institution in May 2018.
