Russel Bantham

Since serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America over a decade, Russel has represented global pharmaceutical companies in the areas of organizational development and legal and regulatory issues, served the U.S.Chamber’s Life Science Initiative and the Global Exchange Network, and has been an advisor to start-up companies in the healthcare and technology areas. He has also held a number of positions at Bristol-Myers Company (1969-1994), including Vice President and Associate General Counsel.

Russel is a graduate of Hamilton College and earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law school. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Non-Prescription Drug Manufacturers Association, the Council of Family Health, the Food and Drug Law Institute, and the National Association for Biomedical Research. From 1990-1994, Russel was a member of the Board of Trustees, Hamilton College.
