Inspired to Learn was founded in 2022 by Beckett and Phoebe Song to help individuals with Down syndrome, like their older brother Elliott. The organization provides free mentoring and tutoring to individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities. At the 26th Annual Service Above Self Awards Dinner, Santa Clara County’s San Andreas Regional Center awarded Inspired to Learn the Community Resource of the Year Award. The organization also received Certificates of Recognition from California Legislature Assembly and State of California Senate as Community Resource of the Year – 2024. Thanks to the overwhelming interest of volunteers from local high schools and colleges, it supports students across the United States.
