Joana de Almeida Simas

Joana de Almeida Simas serves as the Global Head of EdTech Implementation at Inspired Education Group since September 2022, previously holding roles as Project Manager for Metaverse and VR and Head of EdTech in Portugal. Simas has been a key figure at PaRK International School since September 2015, where responsibilities include Head of EdTech, Technology Integration Specialist, Deputy Head of Junior School, and teaching History and Geography. Additionally, roles extend to being a Criadora Intelectual with Grupo Leya, a Google Certified Educator Level 2, and an EU Code Week Leading Teacher since 2019. Experience also includes serving as a Minecraft Global Mentor and Microsoft Innovative Education Expert since August 2017. Joana de Almeida Simas holds a Master's degree in Teaching from Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Basic Education from the same institution.
