Lisa Brodie is an experienced educator and program manager with a diverse background in teaching and educational management. Currently, Lisa serves as an Educator for DeKalb County School District since August 2022, while also working as a QA Analyst at Inspiredu Atlanta and holding the position of Director of Expansion and Licensed Insurance Agent at PHP Agency, Inc. since February 2020. Previous roles include Program Manager focusing on family engagement at PowerMyLearning, a part-time teacher for Reading and Math at Atlanta Trilingual Academy, and a 5th Grade Math and Science teacher at Ivy Preparatory Academy, where Lisa contributed to STEM programs and cultural arts initiatives. Lisa began their career as a 2nd Grade teacher at Clarksdale Municipal School District, where innovation in educational technology and student remediation programs was a focus. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University and Master's degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Grand Canyon University, respectively.

Inspiredu, an educational non-profit in Georgia, was founded in 2020 due to a spinout from PowerMyLearning Greater Atlanta, a branch which was established in 2007. Inspiredu’s (formerly PowerMyLearning Greater Atlanta) mission is to help underserved youth develop the skills needed for education and career success through technology-based learning tools and engagement activities with their families, communities, and schools.
