Inspire
Cormac is the Group Director of Learning/Intellectual Disability & Autism. He has over twenty years’ management experience in adult and children intellectual/disability services and mental health services. In 2017, Cormac was seconded to the Health Service Executive, to lead an autism organisation which required significant improvements and, through collaborative and partnership working, achieved quality improvements, outcomes, and compliance with regulators. A qualified social worker, he also holds a Leadership and Strategic Award for Social Work and a MSc in Health and Social Care Management. He has a keen interest in research and is in the final year of a PhD in Social Work, examining policy and practice developments in Northern Ireland’s adult safeguarding, conducting a qualitative comparative study of adult safeguarding across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Cormac is also Inspire’s Safeguarding Officer ensuring Inspire high level safeguarding standards across the organisation.
