Inspiring Performance
Inspiring Performance enables individuals and teams to feel, think and act differently: enhancing personal performance; maximising team synergy and enabling leaders to create a winning culture and sustainable results. Working globally, across private and public sectors, we conduct our own research to design and deliver tailor-made programmes in an exciting way that often incorporates experiential learning. Inspiring Performance (IP) has unique, first-hand experience of four Global Challenge Round the World Yacht Races including consultant participation as crew; the selection and development of race skippers; selection of yacht sponsor employees; and the development of race teams. Additionally the IP research team, in partnership with Henley Management College, conducted an extensive study during the 2000/1 Global Challenge race. The findings from this research gave the team an intriguing insight into emotional intelligence and its impact on leadership, team dynamics and performance. Over the last decade, these finding have been further validated in a diverse range of business and sports teams. This has broadened IP’s understanding of emotional intelligence and, has led to the development of the leadership and team synergy models, the creation of a suite of diagnostic and analytical tools, and the publication of three leadership books.
