Marissa Levinson

Marissa Levinson is the Associate General Counsel for Privacy at Instacart. Marissa has held this position since November 2020.

Previously, they were the VP of Associate General Counsel at QuinStreet from January 2013 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for corporate and business development, drafting and negotiating publisher, advertiser, partnership, distribution and license agreements, acquisition agreements, and corporate leases and equity agreements.

Before QuinStreet, Levinson was the VP of Business & Legal Affairs at SAY Media from January 2010 to December 2011. In this role, they managed sales, distribution, business development, licensing, support and professional services terms. Prior to SAY Media, Levinson was the VP of New Media & Publishing at Six Apart from January 2005 to December 2010 where they led the group that brought Movable Type & TypePad to market for large media companies, CPG companies and advertising companies.

Levinson started their career as an Associate Attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe from January 1996 to December 1999. After Orrick, they became the Press Relations Manager at World Economic Forum from January 1991 to January 1998.

Marissa Levinson has a BA with Honors in Mathematical Economics from Brown University, a JD in Law from Georgetown University Law Center, and an I.B. from the International School of Geneva, Switzerland.
