Natalie James

Natalie James is an accomplished accounting executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Controller at Instacart since February 2023, Natalie previously held prominent positions at Uber, including Senior Director of Accounting and Director of Accounting Operations, where oversight of a global operational team for a $65B organization was a key responsibility. At Equinix, Natalie led significant strategic product launches and initiatives to centralize and stabilize complex accounting functions in the EMEA region. Early career roles include positions at Bank of America, TIAA-CREF, Faison, and Compass Group, where expertise in managing large teams and overseeing accounting operations was developed. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Howard University and an MBA from East Carolina University.
