Carlos Bahamondes Parra has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Carlos began their career at Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero as a Práctica Profesional, where they gained practical experience in the recovery of degraded soils. Carlos then joined Viña Santa Ema as an Asistente de Enólogo, where they assisted in the production of red and white wines. Carlos then moved on to Viña Concha y Toro, where they worked as an Administrador de Fundo Trainee. Following this, they worked at VIÑA SAN PEDRO TARAPACA as a Sub Administrador de Fundo, where they managed resources, supervised vineyard operations, and utilized technological tools for task management. Carlos also gained accreditation as an Operador Acreditado SIRSD-S at Independiente, specializing in soil recovery systems. Carlos'smost recent role was as a Customer Success Manager at Instacrops, where they provided technical and agronomic support, advised on irrigation management, conducted training sessions for farmers and producers, assisted the sales team, and contributed to the development of new technological tools.

Carlos Bahamondes Parra has a strong educational background in the field of agriculture. Carlos obtained a degree in Agronomic Engineering with a specialization in Soil Physics from the Universidad de Concepción. This degree was earned between the years 2002 and 2007.

In addition to their undergraduate degree, Carlos pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Precision Irrigation and Agriculture from the Universidad de Talca. This degree was completed in a one-year program from 2023 to 2024.

Carlos has also acquired several certifications that enhance their expertise in agriculture. Carlos obtained a certification in "Real-time Information as a Tool for Climate Action in Agriculture" from the Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias - INIA in April 2020. In August 2017, they became a certified Consultant for the National Irrigation Commission (Comisión Nacional de Riego - CNR). Furthermore, Carlos obtained a license as a Pilot for the Matrice 600 Pro drone from OFICINA DGAC in March 2020. Lastly, they gained accreditation as an Operator of the System of Incentives for the Recovery of Degraded Soils (SIRSD-S) from the Agricultural and Livestock Service (Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero) in March 2017.
