Nicolás L.

Nicolás L. currently serves as the Head of BioAI at InstaDeep Ltd, where the focus is on building a team dedicated to AI applications in protein design, proteomics, and genomics. Additionally, Nicolás holds the position of DeepChain Product Lead and has formerly managed the software development team for the DeepChain platform. In a volunteer capacity, Nicolás organizes bio-related hackathons through Zindi. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Count, and as a Senior Scientific Software Engineer and Scientific Software Engineer at Schlumberger. Research experience includes work at CNRS in computational fluid dynamics and teaching mathematics at Université de Lorraine. Nicolás holds an Engineer's degree from Instituto Balseiro, as well as a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from Universite de Lorraine, and master's degrees in Materials Science from Ecole Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux and UPC School. Further education includes summer programs at Stanford University and the University of Cambridge.
