Austin Guevara

Firmware Engineer at Instant Care

Austin Guevara has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. Austin began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Composite Horizons - PCC Structurals in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Kitchen Line at Mellow Mushroom, a Distance Learning Technician at Virginia Tech, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the FASER Lab, where they focused on robotic mechanics & design. In 2021, Austin began their current role as an Associate Engineer at Instant Care, Inc., where they design, codes, and tests for manufacturing personal emergency response systems (PERS). Austin also writes code for both central and peripheral devices that communicate over sub-GHz frequencies and Bluetooth.

Austin Guevara attended Maranatha High School from 2012 to 2016, and then went on to Virginia Tech College of Engineering, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2021.
