Kelly Day has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kelly began their career as a Royalties Administrator at EMI Music in 2004, where they added data to the royalty system and resolved queries from artists and their advisers. Kelly then worked at Sony Music Entertainment and EMI Music Publishing in similar roles.
In 2008, Kelly joined BBC Worldwide as a Contract Administrator, responsible for adding data to the royalty system and resolving queries from the Talent community. Kelly later moved to the London Ambulance Service as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, providing telephone triage for emergency 999 calls.
In 2012, Kelly joined the General Dental Council as a Customer Advice & Information Officer, providing advice and information to dental professionals and the general public. Kelly later became a Registration Operations Officer, assessing CPD portfolios and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Kelly then worked at The CPD Certification Service as an Assessment Support Executive, providing support for members and assessing training materials for CPD accreditation. Their role included CRM system administration and project planning support.
In 2017, Kelly joined MyBuilder as a Senior Customer Support, where they handled user accounts and covered customer support during periods of low staff levels. Kelly later became a QA Manager, responsible for creating a system and process for customer support quality assurance.
Throughout their career, Kelly has demonstrated skills in operations, customer support, quality assurance, and administration. Kelly has experience in data management, resolving queries, and providing information and advice to various stakeholders.
Kelly Day completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry Management from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College, from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BTec ND in Music Technology from Leeds College of Music, from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Kelly also obtained certifications in the PeopleStorming Leadership Program from PeopleStorming in June 2022 and Train the Trainer from LinkedIn in September 2019.
