Sagar Darekar

Sagar Darekar is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Principal Information Scientist at Instem India Pvt Ltd since June 2022. Sagar has held various roles at Instem since June 2020, including Team Lead/Senior Information Scientist focusing on SEND 3.0/3 initiatives. Prior experience includes a position as Training Consultant at Instem India Pvt Ltd from November 2017 to June 2020, and Associate Scientist at Lupin Limited from December 2015 to September 2017, where work centered on early drug discovery phases in pain and inflammation. Sagar also contributed as a Research Associate at Jubilant Biosys from November 2010 to December 2015, engaged in drug discovery targeting CNS and pain. The early career began with research internship at the National Toxicology Center in 2009. Sagar holds a Master's Degree in Pharmacology from NMIMS University, Mumbai, and a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
