Marcel Camilo Chingaté Hernández

Marcel Camilo Chingaté Hernández has a diverse range of work experience in finance and operations. Marcel Camilo is currently the Director of Finance and Operations at Instiglio since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Founder Partner of MCH Auditores y Consultores, a role they held since May 2016. Marcel also has experience as the Head of Finance at Ayenda Hoteles, where they managed the finance department for the Latin America region and parent companies in the USA from September 2019 to April 2022. Marcel Camilo worked as a Finance Manager at Rocket Internet SE from November 2013 to May 2016, overseeing the finance departments of three start-ups. Marcel has also worked at KPMG, first as a Senior Supervisor - Transactions & Restructuring from January 2011 to October 2013, and earlier as an Audit Associate from January 2008 to September 2008. Prior to that, they held roles as a Financial Controller at Direct Traffic Media from July 2009 to December 2010, a Finance Analyst at Draftfcb in October-December 2007, and an Audit Analyst at KPMG from September 2005 to March 2007.

Marcel Camilo Chingaté Hernández has a diverse education history. In 2022, they completed the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) program at the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). In 2014, they pursued a program in financial modeling from Universidad de Los Andes. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, Marcel earned an MSc in Finance from Grenoble Ecole de Management, specializing in finance. Marcel Camilo'sacademic journey began at Universidad de La Salle, where they obtained a degree in Accounting between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, Marcel obtained a certification for Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst from the Corporate Finance Institute.
