Bill Peregoy

Bill Peregoy has worked in the software engineering field since 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they held the role of Director of Physical Design at Paradigm Works, Inc. where they were responsible for defining physical design strategy and hands-on implementation of automated I/O ring generation, ATPG and memory BIST. From 2001 to 2008, they were a DFT Engineer at Tilera Corporation, where they were responsible for all software tools used to verify integrated circuit designs, writing tools in Ruby, Perl, Javascript and AngularJS, and providing primary support and maintenance for a continuous integration system used for release management. In 2006, they were a DFT Consultant at Plexus Design Solutions, where they were responsible for ATPG, memory BIST and test pattern generation for ASIC designs. From 2008 to 2012, they were a Software Tools Engineer at Teradyne, where they wrote tools in Ruby, Perl, Javascript and AngularJS which were used to simulate and regress designs. In 2013, they became the Owner/Director of Lawrence Yoga Collective, a yoga studio that operates on a donation basis. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer at The Gnar Company, Inc., where they worked on a variety of projects, including a Phoenix/Elixir backend to power a social media project geared towards trade professionals and deploying within the customer technology division at the MBTA. Since 2019, they have been the Lead Software Engineer at Instinct Science.

Bill Peregoy obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech between 1980 and 1984.
