Lotfi Abdi

Lotfi Abdi is a Technical Lead specializing in Computer Vision and Machine/Deep Learning at the Institut de Recherche Technologique RAILENIUM since October 2021, where leadership of a multidisciplinary team focuses on developing perception systems for autonomous trains. Prior experience includes roles as a Deep Learning Software Engineer at CNRS, concentrating on financial prediction using machine learning, and as a Deep Learning Engineer at Inria, working on pedestrian behavior prediction for autonomous driving. Lotfi Abdi also held postdoctoral researcher positions at Institut Pascal, advancing deep learning for autonomous vehicles and brain MRI segmentation. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National Engineering School of Tunis and multiple degrees from the École Nationale d'ingénieurs de Sousse.
