Sophie Progscha

Sophie Progscha is a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at the Institut für ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung (IÖW) since March 2023, focusing on environmental economics and policy. Previously, Sophie served as a Studentische Mitarbeiterin for the EU Horizon Europe project “JustWind4All,” also concentrating on environmental economics and policy. Prior experience includes roles at Oeko-Institut e.V. as a Werkstudentin and Praktikantin in energy and climate protection, a Werkstudentin in project management at Conversion Champions GmbH, and an internship in CSR research and analysis at imug | rating. Sophie Progscha is pursuing a Master of Science in Socio-Ecological Economics & Policy at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Münster, along with an exchange semester at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
