Wang X. is a CNRS Researcher and Prestige and Marie Curie Fellow at Institut Jacques Monod/CNRS & University Paris Diderot since September 2017. Previous experience includes a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where Wang designed and fabricated elastic microtubes for soft microfluidic applications and studied epithelial dynamics on 3D confined curved surfaces. Wang also served as an ERC Grant Postdoc Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and IFW Dresden, focusing on 3D rolled-up microtube arrays and intelligent micro/nano-engines. A brief tenure as a Visiting Scholar at The Gurdon Institute involved investigating single cell division mechanisms with super resolution microscopy. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Oxford, measuring photocurrent at the single molecule level. Wang X. earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
