Patrick Ehrlicher

Patrick Ehrlicher is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute FAPS since July 2023, following a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where enrollment spanned from September 2019 to July 2023. Prior to this, Patrick served as an Instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command from September 2017 to September 2019, teaching Reactor Dynamics and Core Characteristics to Navy Nuclear Officers. Patrick's career in the US Navy from May 2012 to September 2019 included roles as a Submarine Officer, where responsibilities encompassed personnel management, engineering oversight of submarine nuclear power plants, and operational risk management. Earlier experience as a Teaching Assistant at Boston University involved guiding undergraduate students in introductory programming courses utilizing MATLAB while completing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution between 2008 and 2012.
