Britt Heinz-Amborn has had a diverse career, beginning in 2005 as an Account Executive for Tri-Star Lending Group, where they generated, closed, and funded over $15 million in mortgage sales. In 2006, they volunteered as an Adoption Counselor for New Leash on Life USA. In 2007, they became a Client Services Coordinator for Field Trip Factory, producing client correspondence and newsletter content, managing mail distributions, and providing client support. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at the Art Institute, first as an Associate Director of Admissions, engaging in consultative, face to face recruitment process, then as an Assistant Director of Admissions. During this same time period, they also volunteered as a Racial Justice Facilitator for YWCA Minneapolis. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the Executive Assistant to the COO for Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, managing COO office operations and executing project management for long-term, large-scale organization projects. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Graduate Research Assistant for the Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center and a Policy Intern for Gender Justice. Finally, from 2016 to the present, they have been the HMIS Director, HMIS Manager, Reporting & Evaluation, and Data Analyst for the Institute for Community Alliances.
Britt Heinz-Amborn received their Bachelor of Arts in English from North Central College in 2005, and their Master of Public Policy in Gender and Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in 2016.
