Courtney Guntly, MSW has a wealth of work experience. Courtney began their career in 2012 as a Resource Coordinator for Family Promise of Northern New Castle County. Courtney then worked as a Maternal and Child Health Intern for Lawndale Christian Health Center from 2012-2013. From 2013-2015, they worked as a Case Manager for Central Iowa Shelter & Services. Courtney then worked as a Program Assistant for New Directions Shelter from 2015-2016. During 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant for the Health Communication Research Laboratory and as a Student Worker for the Brown School Service Center. In 2017, they were a Practicum Student for Paraquad and Missouri Health Care for All, as well as a Legislative Intern for the Missouri House of Representatives. Since 2018, they have been the Balance of State Continuum of Care Director and Coordinated Entry Specialist for the Institute for Community Alliances, where they develop and maintains organizational documents, communicates and collaborates with other HUD recognized CoCs in the state, and monitors/reviews policy documentation.
Courtney Guntly, MSW earned a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017, with a Domestic Social and Economic Development, Policy Specialization. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Social Work from Luther College in 2012.
