Kristen M. Kulinowski

Kristen M. Kulinowski is the Director of the Science and Technology Policy Institute at the Institute for Defense Analyses. Kristen has also worked as a research staff member at the Science and Technology Policy Institute and as an adjunct assistant professor at Rice University. Kristen has a passion for policy and has devoted their career to policy analysis and research. Kristen has led multidisciplinary teams in performing objective analyses to support the formulation of national policy for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and other Federal agencies. Kristen has also managed the educational outreach program at the Center for Biological and Environmental Nanotechnology and served on the executive leadership team responsible for administration, oversight, and reporting for more than $20 million in funding.

Kristen M. Kulinowski received their B.S. in Chemistry from Canisius College, their M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Rochester, and an Executive Education Certificate Program in Crisis Leadership from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health / Cohort 17 of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative (NPLI).
