Emir Nurkic

Emir Nurkic is the Chief Operating Officer at the Institute for Development Impact - I4DI since October 2014. Emir is also the Co-Founder of Maryland - Bosnia and Herzegovina Exchange Council, holding this position since September 2023. Prior to this, Emir served as the Regional Representative for Central and Eastern Europe at Emmaus International from 1997 to 2014. Emir holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in International Law and International Relations from Univerzitet u Zenici (2005-2010) and a Master's degree in Human Rights & Democracy from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (2003-2005).
