Carlos Renan dos Santos is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Energy Technology since September 2021. Previously, Carlos served as a Graduate Student Researcher at EESC-USP / Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos from January 2017 to July 2021. Experience includes a visiting PhD student role at UC Irvine in 2019 and a visiting student position at Virginia Tech in early 2016. Carlos holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from EESC-USP, earned between 2017 and 2021, and has completed sandwich degree programs in Aerospace Engineering at UC Irvine and Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from EESC-USP from 2012 to 2016.
