Fred Martin Kaaby

Fred Martin Kaaby is an experienced analytical chemist and process engineer with a strong background in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. Currently employed at Reservoir Technology since November 2016, responsibilities include sample preparation and various analytical techniques such as ICP-OES and GC-IRMS. Concurrently, at the Institute for Energy Technology since August 2008, focuses on analyzing biogas, natural gas, and oil through isotope ratio mass spectrometry. Previous experience includes a role as a laboratory technician at the University of Bergen and as a laboratory assistant at Ringnes AS. Fred Martin Kaaby holds a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Analytical Chemistry, both from the University of Bergen and University of Agder, respectively. Additionally, completed fundamental education for Peacetime Contingency Teams from The Norwegian Civil Defence in 2009.
