Jan Verwilst

Jan Verwilst serves as HMS- og Kvalitetssjef at the Institute for Energy Technology since May 2021. Previously, Jan was EHS Manager at BASF from October 2017 to May 2021, overseeing compliance and implementing an integrated management system, including ISO 50001, while leading the EHS team and improving workplace safety. Prior to that, Jan worked as QHSSE Advisor at Jan De Nul Group from November 2011 to September 2017, managing global incident monitoring and ensuring compliance with QHSSE procedures. Jan holds a Master of Safety Engineering, Prevention and a Master of Science in Chemistry from KU Leuven, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
