Lars Ove Claesson

Lars Ove Claesson has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Sales Consultant and later as a Sales Team Manager at Lefdal Elektromarked AS. In 1997, they joined New Learning AS as a Systems Developer, where they developed video conferencing systems and network monitoring tools. In 2000, they moved to Datek Wireless AS as a Systems Developer, specializing in systems development and project management for wireless infrastructure systems. At Telenor Norge AS, they held various roles, including Chief Technology Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Systems and Solutions Architect, Project Architect, and Systems Developer. Lars then joined Norwegian Air Shuttle as Chief Architect and Head of IT Architecture from 2015 to 2018. Lars Ove also worked at Teleplan Consulting AS as a Senior Advisor for a brief period in 2018. Currently, Lars serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Institute for Energy Technology.

Lars Ove Claesson has a strong academic background in IT and communications systems. Lars Ove obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 1997, before continuing their education at UiO for a Master of Science degree in Communications Systems, which they completed in 2003. During this time, Lars also received additional certifications to enhance their expertise.

In terms of practical training, Lars attended the Norwegian Naval Forces in 1996 and 1997, where they completed the Sergeants Training program, earning the rank of Sergeant.

Outside of their formal education, Lars has also pursued professional certifications. Lars Ove obtained the NSM Grunnprinsipper for IKT-sikkerhet certification from Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet in October 2022, showcasing their knowledge in IT security principles. Additionally, in February 2022, they received a certification in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from the University of Cambridge. Finally, Lars has a Certified Scrum Master certification, although the institution and specific details about when and where they obtained it are not available.
