Nicoleta Popovici

Nicoleta Popovici is an experienced researcher with a strong background in energy technology and environmental science. Currently serving as a researcher at the Institute for Energy Technology in the Sector Safety, Quality and Environment since October 2019, Nicoleta has previously held senior engineering positions in petroleum technology and solar energy at the Institute for Energy Technology. Additionally, Nicoleta contributed as a PhD student and research fellow at the University of Lisbon from 2002 to 2008. Early career experience includes research at the National Institute of Research and Development for Optoelectronics from 1998 to 2002. Nicoleta holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Lisbon and a Bachelor's degree in Atomic and Molecular Physics from the University of Bucharest.
