Per-Anders Hansen

Per-Anders Hansen is a researcher at the Institute for Energy Technology since May 2021 and has been associated with the University of Oslo as a researcher (20%) and in various capacities, including postdoctoral and PhD roles, since August 2009. Per-Anders Hansen's current research focuses on the development of down conversion materials for solar cells through atomic layer deposition, emphasizing inorganic and structural chemistry as well as the optical and luminescence properties of lanthanide-based materials. The doctoral thesis, titled "Light conversion materials for photovoltaics by atomic layer deposition," centered on lanthanide oxides. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Universiteit Utrecht in 2016. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Oslo (2009-2014) and a master’s degree in Material Science from the same institution (2004-2009), complemented by participation in several specialized summer schools related to renewable energy and nanostructured semiconductors.
