Sigvald Marholm is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Energy Technology since September 2019, focusing on computational plasma physics through Finite Element based Particle-In-Cell simulations. Prior to this role, Sigvald held the position of PhD Research Fellow in Computational Plasma Physics from September 2014 to August 2019. Between September 2012 and August 2014, Sigvald worked as an Electronics Design Engineer at Kongsberg Devotek, specializing in the design and testing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for motor control and DC/DC converters. Additional experience includes teaching assistant positions at NTNU and summer internships at Texas Instruments Norway AS, where Sigvald developed skills in programming and circuit tuning. Sigvald holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronics Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and completed an exchange program at Delft University of Technology.
