Barbara Percy

Barbara Percy is a UX/UI Specialist at The Institute for Environmental Analytics (IEA), where since January 2016, Barbara has developed intuitive web-based solutions for various demonstrator projects using environmental data across diverse domains such as agriculture and renewable energy. As a self-employed Analyst/Programmer since 1991, Barbara has extensive experience in the software development life-cycle, engaging with clients to discuss requirements, analyzing needs, and developing software solutions. Prior experience includes serving as Data Products Development Manager at the University of Reading from 2012 to December 2015, focusing on making research data accessible through user-friendly software design. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Applied Meteorology from the University of Reading and a Bachelor’s degree in Maths & Computing from London South Bank University.
