Irick Geary (T.J.)

Irick (T.J.) Geary is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience at the University of South Carolina, serving since May 2008 in various leadership roles including Commander of the Operations Bureau, Commander of Uniformed Patrol, and Commander of Administration and Emergency Management. Responsibilities have included oversight of uniformed patrol personnel, emergency management, crime prevention units, and contract law enforcement services for the National Advocacy Center. Additionally, Irick Geary has been involved in consulting and training for officer safety and wellness through the Institute for Intergovernmental Research since February 2017. Educational achievements include a Master of Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, a session at the FBI National Academy, and various advanced certificates from prestigious institutions.
