Rebecca Cambria

Rebecca Cambria is a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in both research and legal counsel. As a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Intergovernmental Research since December 2020, Rebecca has contributed valuable insights to intergovernmental initiatives. Previously, Rebecca served as Assistant General Counsel at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement from July 2014 to December 2020, where responsibilities included providing legal advice on law enforcement issues. Earlier experience includes an Assistant State Attorney position at the Office of the State Attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit from May 2011 to July 2014. Rebecca holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, earned between 2008 and 2011.
