Anya Coverman serves as President and CEO of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives since September 2017, previously holding the position of Senior Vice President for Government Affairs and General Counsel. Prior to this role, Anya Coverman worked at the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) from March 2012 to September 2017 as Deputy Director of Policy & Government Affairs and Associate General Counsel. Additional experience includes serving as Principal at Coverman PLC, Counsel at Canvas Health Inc., Corporate and Securities Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and Corporate Associate at Kent, Beatty & Gordon, LLP. Anya Coverman earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from American University Washington College of Law (2002-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Miami (1998-2002).
