Qi Wei is a Data Scientist II at the Institute for Systems Biology, with a progressive career that includes roles as a Data Scientist I and Postdoctoral Fellow since November 2021. Expertise includes designing experiments to evaluate clinical models of complex biomedical systems, analyzing extensive data from Electronic Health Records and genomic sources, and applying machine learning for enhanced clinical decision-making. Previously, Qi was a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University and conducted a research internship at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on vaccine coverage estimation.
