Miguel Rodrigo Gonzalo

Miguel Rodrigo Gonzalo serves as the Knowledge, New Business Models, and Competitiveness Director at IDAE since April 2014, focusing on green growth and energy transition. Previously, Miguel held various project management roles at the European Commission and the Spanish Agency for Energy Saving and Diversification, where responsibilities included drafting legislation, conducting feasibility studies for biogas and waste projects, and promoting energy solutions. Miguel’s engineering background is complemented by roles as an environmental engineer at CEPSA E&P and Georgia-Pacific LLC, and early research experience at the University of Salamanca. Miguel holds an Executive MBA and a Master's Degree in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, along with a Chemical Engineering degree from the same institution.
