Ahmad Butt

Ahmad Butt serves as Executive Chairman at Deep Science Ventures, where innovative teams of scientists explore new opportunities to transform industries. Ahmad is a Founding Board Member at Mark1 and a Commissioner at the Energy Transitions Commission, both focused on climate technologies. As CEO and Managing Partner at Jetstone Asset Management since 2013, Ahmad leads a quant hedge fund. Additionally, Ahmad is a Pledger with Founders Pledge, a member of the Founders Circle at the Institute for the Future of Work, and actively invests, advises, and mentors multiple startups. Ahmad is a Startup Mentor for climate and AI cohorts at Creative Destruction Lab and a member of YPO Gold London and MENA One Dubai. Education includes an MBA in Private Equity from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and participation in an Executive Program at Singularity University.
