Sara Skvirsky

Director Of Strategic Learning at Institute for the Future

Sara Skvirsky is a seasoned professional in strategic learning and foresight, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Learning and Research Director at the Institute for the Future since November 2011. With a strong focus on lifelong learning and community engagement, Sara designs and directs engagements for various organizations worldwide, leading original research and speaking on the future of learning and work. Prior roles at the Institute included Research Manager, where Sara developed the learning futures research practice, and Research Assistant, managing the Ten-Year Forecast program. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles with Amigos de las Americas in Ecuador, participation in the Women in Leadership program by Coro Northern California, and teaching positions across diverse educational environments. Sara holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Hispanic Studies from Oberlin College and has contributed to the development of educational resources for Facing History and Ourselves.
