Previously, Ruth was the Funding and Relationship Manager for the Big Lottery Fund, focusing on Essex applications, and worked at Essex County Council as a Bid Development Officer, fostering relationships to secure funding for public service programs. Ruth's career includes significant roles at the Ethical Property Foundation, where Ruth managed the Property Advice Service, and LawWorks, where Ruth was involved in providing free legal advice to community groups. From the very small that directly support the most vulnerable in their local communities, to those that work nationally – across the voluntary, public and funding sectors. We use research to develop practical responses to the challenges faced and create opportunities for people to learn from our findings.
