Dr. Anjali Rajan Puthiyedath has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Dr. Anjali started their career at Indian Public High School (IPHS) as an English Language Teacher from March 2002 to September 2005. Dr. Anjali then joined Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, UAE as a Lecturer, teaching Business Communication and Technical English from June 2005 to March 2007. In 2007, they joined the Institute of Applied Technology, where they initially worked as an English Language Teacher from September 2007 to July 2019. Since August 2019, they have been serving as the Lead Teacher in the English Department at the same institute. In 2014, Dr. Puthiyedath began working with Apple, initially as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist and later as an Apple Distinguished Educator. From October 2016 to October 2018, they also served as an Advisory Board Member for Apple Distinguished Educators in the EMEIA region.
Dr. Anjali Rajan Puthiyedath holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in English Language and Literature from Savitribai Phule Pune University, obtained between 2016 and 2021. Additionally, they have a Master's degree in English Language & Literature from the University of Madras, earned from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Puthiyedath has also attained a Cambridge CELTA certification in Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Cambridge in 2007. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in English Language Teaching from Mahatma Gandhi University. Furthermore, they hold a DELTA qualification in Module 2 from the University of Cambridge, completed between 2010 and 2012, and a certificate course in Educational/Instructional Technology from Michigan State University in 2010. Lastly, Dr. Puthiyedath has a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Madurai Kamaraj University, earned from 2006 to 2013. Dr. Anjali has additional certifications as an Apple Distinguished Educator from Apple in 2015, an Apple Professional Learning Specialist (APLS) from Apple in 2014, and a CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge in 2007.
