Judy Matar has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of engineering. Judy started their career at the Institute of Applied Technology in 2014, where they worked as a Workshop Engineer, managing teaching laboratories and conducting training sessions. Judy then transitioned to the role of an Electrical Engineering Teacher, where they planned and managed student learning experiences, supervised projects, and improved curriculum and assessment strategies. In 2017, they became the Lead of the Applied Engineering Department, providing strategic direction in course planning and professional development.
