Judy Matar

Judy Matar has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of engineering. Judy started their career at the Institute of Applied Technology in 2014, where they worked as a Workshop Engineer, managing teaching laboratories and conducting training sessions. Judy then transitioned to the role of an Electrical Engineering Teacher, where they planned and managed student learning experiences, supervised projects, and improved curriculum and assessment strategies. In 2017, they became the Lead of the Applied Engineering Department, providing strategic direction in course planning and professional development. Alongside their professional career, Judy also worked as a Freelancer, taking on roles such as a Content Writer for ICT Courses, E-commerce Co-owner, and Electronics Projects Developer. Prior to their time at the Institute of Applied Technology, they had internships at EMS - Electro Mechanical Specialists and Melec Group. Judy holds a position as an Integration Teacher at Mubadala and previously worked as a Lab Assistant at the University of Balamand. Judy'swork experience showcases their expertise in engineering, teaching, and project management.

Judy Matar holds a Master's degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence from the Lebanese American University, which they obtained from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering General/Management from the University of Balamand from 2012 to 2014. Judy also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Balamand from 2011 to 2012. In 2008, they pursued studies in Electrical engineering at the Lebanese University - Faculty of Engineering 1 - Tripoli. In addition, Judy Matar has obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Power Apps Essential Training, VEX V5 Educator Certification, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, and others.
